Welcome to my World

Hello there! I’m Annie (Ah + nee), a Nigerian millennial, freshly minted into the tricenarian club (yes, 30-something, and owning it!), currently living my life amidst the vibrant chaos of São Paulo, Brazil. Think samba beats meets suya spice, and you’re halfway there.

By day, I’m a data analyst, wrestling numbers and yes, I speak fluent spreadsheet and pivot table! But after hours, the real magic happens. I’m a budding writer, weaving tales of life, experiences, and the occasional hilarious mishap. You might find me scribbling away when I am neck deep in quiet.

And if you need a sweet treat? Well, you’ve come to the right place! My kitchen transforms into a mini-Nigeria, churning out the most delectable pastries for events. Think chin-chin that snaps just right, puff-puff that’s fluffy and golden, and meat pies that are basically a hug in pastry form. I’m basically a culinary ninja, armed with a whisk and a deep love for all things doughy.

But beyond the numbers, words, and pastries, I’m fiercely passionate about women’s development and empowerment. I believe in lifting each other up, breaking down barriers, and creating spaces where we can all thrive. Expect to see posts about navigating motherhood, career, and everything in between, sprinkled with a healthy dose of Nigerian sass and Brazilian flair.

Oh, and did I mention I’m a mom to two incredibly adorable (and occasionally mischievous) little humans? They’re my biggest adventure, my greatest source of inspiration, and the reason my life is a constant whirlwind of laundry, laughter, and learning.

This blog is my little corner of the internet, a place where I can express all my multifaceted sides. It’s a space for stories, recipes, reflections, and a sprinkle of real talk. Join me as I navigate this crazy, beautiful, and utterly unpredictable journey of life as a Nigerian tricenarian in Brazil. Let’s connect, laugh, learn, and maybe even inspire each other along the way!
